Triple P Program @ Bull Creek Primary School

Our free Triple P seminars and discussion groups give you simple, practical strategies to help you raise a happy and confident child.

Children thrive when they are raised in a nurturing environment. The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program gives Mums, Dads and Carers ideas and strategies to help their child develop the skills and behaviours they need for a healthy childhood. Triple P is one of the world’s most effective parenting programs. Developed by Clinical Psychologist Professor Matt Sanders and his colleagues at the University of Queensland, Triple P has been tested with thousands of families through ongoing research over more than 30 years!

Triple P doesn’t tell people how to parent. Rather, it offers simple and practical strategies that parents can adapt to suit their own values, beliefs and needs. The benefits can be dramatic and long-lasting. Triple P is designed to give parents the skills they need to raise confident, healthy children and to build stronger family relationships. Research has shown it works across cultures, socio-economic groups and in many different family structures.

In times of uncertainty, it’s important now more than ever to support your family’s wellbeing. Our seminars at Bull Creek Primary School are held in safe, in-person events in line with the latest health advice.

Our School Psychologist Jon Heath is delivering a range of seminars, discussion group and brief parent consults in a format to suit all parents. While the seminars series are independent sessions, they are most effective when all 3 are completed in order.

Upcoming Scheduled Seminars in 2022

Our School Psychologist has already delivered 4 seminars online during Term 1 in 2022. We had a fantastic attendance with over 30 families attending each of the seminars in the Junior Seminar Series and over 50 families attending the Fearless: Managing Anxiety Seminar! There were so many positive comments from parents that attended and we would encourage all families to participate in these seminars if they have the opportunity.

While our School Psychologist Jon doesn’t have any additional seminars scheduled at this time, other seminars are being run online, at other schools and at child and parent centres across the state.
